Description:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist the Digital team in the day-to-day execution of lead generation, analytics-driven marketing and project management. This successful member will be hard-working, responsible, self-driven as well as possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills and demonstrated initiative. This individual will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting web and email behavior for our clients. This individual will also assist the Marketing Manager in developing and monitoring success against strategic digital marketing plans and help assist in web development project management as it relates to online lead generation and associated metrics.

Responsibilities:

Paid Digital Advertising:

  • Helps directly manage the daily maintenance and optimization activity of all digital advertising for DeanHouston Chicago’s client base
  • Facilitates communications with account management and the Marketing Manager regarding digital marketing performance and helps provide strategic recommendations for campaign optimization and budget allocation
  • Provides recommendations and hands on execution of SEO and Paid Digital Advertising campaign optimization, initially with collaborative oversight and eventually autonomously
  • Works closely with development resources to ensure that all digital customer behavior data and tracking mechanisms are functioning in accordance with defined best practices
  • Works to regularly pull lead generation reports, including lead names, companies and segmentation data at the frequency of and in the manner defined by a client’s overall strategic marketing plan

Analytics & Metrics:

  • Takes responsibility for primary source-data platforms as they relate to digital marketing and lead generation (Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Hubspot/Infusionsoft, Google Tag Manager, Various Digital Advertising Accounts)
  • Actively and continuously monitors our clients’ digital data and acts as a “first line” of defense for deviations from expected performance while highlighting and promoting lead generation success
  • Regularly provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on digital performance data
  • Collaborates closely with the Marketing Manager and account management resources to efficiently provide data for effective client reporting – often by developing automated systems or connections to real-time dashboards
  • When applicable, helps the Director of Digital Marketing and account management team analyze client CRM activity and usage as it pertains to DH-led digital marketing initiatives

Within 1 Month:

  • Have certifications completed for Google Analytics, AdWords & Hubspot
  • Familiarize yourself with each team and how to communicate effectively between them
  • Gain an understanding of the team’s workflow structure and agile processes
  • Manage contact database lists for all DHC clients

Within 3 Months:

  • Create and maintain full digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram & LinkedIn
    • Keyword & Competitive Research
    • Audience Building Strategy

    Within 12 Months:

    • Assist account management and the client digital team with creating, launching and maintaining digital marketing strategies
    • Define and build processes around new and evolving digital advertising technologies
    • Collaborate with departments on client estimates and strategic proposals
    • Work alongside DeanHouston leadership to help market and promote our digital services portfolio
    • Complete maintenance and monitor digital advertising campaigns across Google Search, Facebook/Instagram, and LinkedIn
    • Have the ability to create reporting metrics from scratch and perform maintenance across all client reporting dashboards (Grow.com, Google Data Studio, etc.)
    • Manage and Launch Email and Marketing Automation campaigns
